What is Clare PPN?
Clare Public Participation Network is the voice of community groups in Clare. We are a publicly-funded, independent network of more than 400 not-for-profit organisations throughout the county. Our mission is to ensure community groups have the opportunity to bring their expertise and opinions to bear on the County Council’s policies, plans and activities. We also offer training, and opportunities for our groups to collaborate and network with each other. We act as an information hub, with regular newsletters and active social media and we organise the election of community representatives to committees of Clare County Council and other policy-making bodies.

As a member group of Clare PPN, you’ll have a greater say in local government decisions that affect your community and will be supported to engage in consultations and planning. You’ll be kept informed of funding opportunities, events, supports and public consultations, and you’ll have access to free training.
Influence Policy
Members of Clare PPN can influence policy in several ways, including by electing representatives from among our members to Clare Co Council policy committees and other decision-making bodies in Clare; and by participating in public consultations. Read more about how you can influence policy here.
