Kieran Burke was born and raised in Ennis. Having spent nearly a decade abroad, he returned to Clare in 2018 and became involved in local volunteering and politics. As someone with a keen interest in and focus on social justice, and as someone active in his community, he aims to enhance relationships between the Local Authority, An Garda Síochána and the community. By strengthening ties between these groups, he sees the Joint Policing Committee as an opportunity to establish a clear line of communication between these groups and an opportunity to raise local issues in a public forum.
