Clare County Development Plan Environmental Submission
On 2nd November the Environmental College of Clare PPN met remotely to discuss Clare County Council’s County Development Plan 2022-2028.The County Development Plan sets out an overall strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development of the County over a six year period. It is currently at pre-draft stage which is made up of four phases:
- Pre-Draft Public Consultation – submissions will be accepted from members of the public and prescribed stakeholders until 16th November 2020.
- Prepare Chief Executive’s Report on Consultation – the Chief Executive will prepare a report on any submissions received during this period and will submit this report to the Elected Members for their consideration.
- Directions from Members on Draft Plan – The Members may issue directions to the Chief Executive regarding the preparation of the Draft Development Plan.
- Preparation of Draft County Development Plan 2022-2028 will then commence.
