• Healthy Ireland fund applications recommended for approval. Recommendation that unsuccessful applicants would be informed as to how to improve their application in the future. •Presentation on Healthy Clare strategy , will be 1st at county level in Ireland. Consultants in place, process being undertaken. Expected completion end of summer 2018. •discussion on reporting and targets for LECP, was moved to sub-committee for discussion and recommendations

1. Healthy Ireland Fund Applications – subcommittee made recommendations which were accepted by committee and forwarded to Pobal for approval. 2. Healthy Clare Strategy was discussed – Steering group has been established, consultations are ongoing and interim report due in May. 3. Local Economic an Community Plan was discussed – Progress reports are being inputted onto System and currently trying to standardise these. 4. Will be carrying out a longitudinal survey on health, wellbeing and quality of life in the county – will be looking at health of county, material deprivation in the county (living conditions + income), socio-economic profile of jobless households, rural transport
– Asked that funding criteria be sent out will all future calls for funding applications. – Asked for updates on previous funding allocations e.g. RAPID to be made available to LCDC
