Want to join us in sending a welcome card to Clare’s Syrian Refugees?

Clare PPN wants to play its part in welcoming the 9 families from Syria who are being offered refuge in the county this June.

No human is illegal

No human is illegal

These families have fled from very real danger in Syria where almost half a million people have been killed and from where 11 million people have been displaced. The nine families who are coming here will need time and peace to adjust and to accommodate themselves to their new environment. If, like us, you would like to make a small non-intrusive gesture of welcome we invite you to send us a welcome card for them. We have had a simple message translated into Arabic -it is here below so all you need to do is copy and paste it into a word document, print it out and then put it in a card with whatever other personal message you like and send it to me at the address below before Monday 20th June and we will make sure the families get them.

The address to send your cards to is: Sarah Clancy, Clare Public Participation Network, Unit One, Westgate Business Park, Kilrush Road, Ennis.

The message for your cards…
