Andy Lambert
Andy Lambert took up the role of Community & Voluntary Rep for Clare PPN on Clare’s SPC (Strategic Policy Committee) for Tourism Development in October 2024.
Andy has worked as a manager and a consultant for over 40 years, including as director and/or co-founder of international, market-leading organisations in branding, HR and communications. His primary professional discipline has been organisational development – a multidisciplinary field spanning strategy, corporate governance, change management, organisational effectiveness, people and communication management (external/internal), research techniques and analytics, marketing and branding. He has worked with over 90 organisations (private and public sectors), and has authored numerous publications, on subjects ranging from performance management to organisational re-structuring; from executive pay to creativity and innovation; managing culture, people risk and trust; and from digitising L&D to employee engagement.
In recent years he has increasingly engaged in community and tourism affairs in North Clare, including working on re-vitalising the Burren Visitor Centre (and serving as a board member of the related co-op), co-creating a community group (a PPN member) in Kilfenora, developing the local tourism strategy, and contributing to the North Clare Communities Group. He has designed visitor experiences, including creating extensive written, graphic and photographic content; acts as a tour designer and guide; and manages websites and social media for several local organisations. A practising musician, he also represents Ireland at the European Folk Network.
